Kelly & Reece met with me a little while back in my home town of Melkbosstrand, here on Cape Town’s golden West Coast. Their wedding was some months away and they were in the country to chat to and catch up with their carefully selected wedding day suppliers. My first impression of the two of them was obvious, they wanted their wedding to be super laid back and full of fun, just like the two of them.

The venue they chose is simply magnificent, Tintswalo Atlantic, in Hout Bay, not too fat away from some of Cape Town’s famous landmarks. Camp’s Bay, The Twelve Apostles mountain range, Lundudno Beach and on course the infamous Sandy Bay (which I have yet to visit) lie not too far from this little fishing town.
Situated at the bottom of the Chapman’s Peak mountains, Tintswalo Atlantic is a five star venue that is literally on the ocean, any closer to the ocean and Tintswalo will literally be “in the ocean”. A picturesque location beyond words is what this venue offers with service and cuisine to match. Kelly and Reece could not have chosen any better.

Although very windy, Kelly and Reece’s wedding day was a super wonderful occasion, filled with heartwarming laughter, huge smiles as the two of them kissed for the first time as hubby and wife, and a dance floor full of interesting and very entertaining dance moves, clearly practiced and, well in some cases, clearly not practiced.
Thank you Kelly & Reece for choosing me to capture the day and night for you.

We could take wedding photographs on the shoreline, under the dock, and notwithstanding strolling down the popular Atlantic. Everybody on the footpath was yelling their congrats and applauding it made for such a fun and exciting atmosphere.
